How to run Windows programs (like Internet Explorer) on a Mac

Here is a nice free way to run Windows on a Mac without having to buy VMWare or use WINE.

1. First download VirtualBox from Oracle:

https://www.virtualbox.org/

2. Then open a terminal (Applications->Utilities-Terminal) and type the following:

curl -s https://raw.github.com/xdissent/ievms/master/ievms.sh | IEVMS_VERSIONS="9" bash

You may be asked for your password on your Mac.

3. Now go to Applications and Click on VirtualBox and you should have a fully functional Windows machine.

4. Make sure the first thing you do is go get AVG Free (free antivirus & malware) and install it.
